Abbott + Kinney = My New Favorite Street

A few Sundays ago I met up with Rachel and Paul for their engagement session. They live in San Francisco but they really wanted to do the shoot in Venice, which I didn't mind at all. Rachel told me about this street she used to work on called Abbott Kinney. I had never heard of it so I wasn't sure what to expect. Let's just say I was pleasantly surprised. The street was ridiculous, for sure one of the coolest streets in LA. I was hanging out in front of this old white hose that was being renovated when I saw this really cool couple walk up and I thought... they would be a fun couple to shoot. It was them! So things were starting out really great, awesome street and an even cooler couple; that's what I call a good work day! Paul had just flown in from Japan and wasn't feeling all that great, but lucky for us we stopped by this really great shop called Brick Lane and asked them if we could take some shots in their vintage telephone booth. Not only did they allow us to shoot there, but they allowed Rachel to change and they gave Paul and I a couple Heineken's. Gotta love the British hospitality! Paul felt much better after a nice relaxing brew so we kept shooting and had a flipp'n awesome time.

To Rachel and Paul: You guys were some much fun and I'm really looking forward to your wedding!
