This past weekend I was in Huntington Beach shooting Sophia and Denby's totally rockn' wedding. Besides Sophia and Denby being just a ridiculously kick booty couple they can also pick vendors like nobodies business. This post will only highlight 2 vendors in particular. First we have Carolyn Chen of The Special Day. She freaking blow up this party with all of her awesomeness! One of the best and easiest coordinators to work with in Southern California! I knew she was good when I got the timeline and everything worked, perfection! Hire her!!! Next we have my new BFF... none other than Julie Hill from Elysium Productions. They are literally one of the best videographers in the world. I don't recommend that many videographers, but I have recommended Elysium a number of times, but now that I've had the privilege of working with them, they are hands down my number one choice in southern california (they travel world wide as well). Without a doubt they need to do your wedding video!!!

A huge thanks to Sophia and Denby for being so good at picking their vendors. And to Carolyn and Julie... Until next time ladies... maybe in Cabo ;)

Traci & Josh :: Married

Last summer (yes, I know, I should blog these faster, I'm sorry!!!) I shot Traci and Josh's wedding at the amazingly beautiful Solage in Calistoga, CA. I absolutely loved this venue and Traci and Josh brought the awesomeness as well. They are a super cool couple and I am honored to call them friends now. Traci should be a super model and I'm actually hoping to use her for a shoot I've got coming up for Runway Boutique. Needless to say we had a killer time and I'm really happy with how their images turned out. I think I see an album in their future ;) Enjoy!

Sneak Peak :: Clarence & Maggie

Here is a photo from Clarence and Maggie's radtastic engagement shoot I have been working on. I wanted to try something a bit different and I super excited with how it turned out. One word for you... CANVAS!!! If you couldn't tell, I'm a huge fan of canvas. They are everywhere in my office and house for that matter. I just might have to order this one for my studio as well ;) Hope you likey!

Zion's in Shape Magazine!!!

My wife and I always knew that we had the cutest kids on the planet, but every parent thinks that ;) So when we thought about getting them into modeling we didn't really have high hopes. We're not the type of people that try to make money off our kids, but we figured if while they are young they can do some cool shoots and have some good experiences then let's go for it.  When we signed them up with their agent from City Model Management, INC. we honestly were not expecting much.  But, when we got the call informing us that Zion had been chosen for a Shape Magazine editorial photo shoot were were pretty excited to say the least.  

I went with Zion to the shoot in SF and we had a great time.  Being a photographer I was totally into it.  The incredible Ericka McConnell was the photographer for the shoot, she was great and her photos are off the chart!  It made me really want to get into commercial photography.  Zion did an amazing job and I am super impressed with how everything turned out.  A great experience all around.  Check out the spreads and then go out and buy a copy for yourself ;)
