Ghost + Ring = Freak'n Awesome!

Here is a ring shot that I just absolutely love. I shot it during Sameer and Muneera's wedding, which you can scroll down for if you missed it. Sameer is a Ghost Busters Freak I guess, like he had a Bill Murry Ghost Busters action figure growing up ;) So one of his buddies got him a Ghost Busters shirt and they even did a little dance. It was kind of a big deal and when I saw this tag on the shirt a little light bulb went off in my hear... RING SHOT!!!! So here it is. Enjoy.

3 + 1 = Rock'n Senior Portraits

In April I had the awesome opportunity of going to Texas for a few shoots and The Lab Workshop. It was put on by my good friends Micheal Norwood, Amy Coffey and Fred Egan . If you are a photogrpaher or want to be one you have to go to this workshop. I met some amazing people and came away from it a better photographer. It was awesome! So while I was in Texas I got to shoot a senior portrait session. It was actually 3 girls doing 1 totally rock'n senior portrait session together. Which if you're interested in having some senior portraits done I would highly recommend doing it this way. Bringing a friend along will help you stay relaxed, keep you laughing and makes for an all around great time. Here are some of my favorite shots from the shoot.

Driving + Taking a Photo = Insanity!!!

So yeah... I was driving around San Francisco after an engagement shoot on my way to another engagement shoot, which means my camera was on the seat next to me in my really cool rental car. It was a Chevy HHR, which is just a wanna be PT Cruiser (no offense to anyone that owns a PT Cruiser... it's just not my first choice in a vehicle). I was driving up this hill and all of the sudden I saw this view. I quickly grabbed my camera, flicked it on, tried to expose and snapped the shot; then out of the corner of my eye I see that the light is RED!!! I slammed on my breaks and came screeching to a stop in the middle of the cross walk. My camera, laptop, soda and everything else that could get airborne did.

But... I got the shot!

Bay + Bridge = Killer Desktop

I was looking at some old landscape photos and this one caught my eye. I nabbed it while shooting Shawn and Jenny's E-Shoot in San Francisco a while back. I threw it up as my desktop background and have been staring at it for a few days so I thought I would share it with you all. There's just something about bridges that are just stink'n cool.

I have been working on a ton of really great stuff these past few days so I thought I would give you a little taste of what is to come. We'll start off with Catie and Centurion, who I met up with in Dallas Texas. We walked around The Dallas World Aquarium, which if you're even in Dallas you should really check out. Centurion is a huge gamer so after that we journeyed up to Speed Zone where they were premiering the new Mario Cart game for wii. After they were done racing each other we played a little putt-putt. Is was both of theirs first time ever. They both got holes in one! Way to go guys. I had a blast and I can not wait for your wedding.

Next we have Cathy and Mark's engagement shoot, well kind of.. at least. Cathy went to high school with me... a little shout out to all of you Oak Ridge Trojans, WHAT WHAT!!! Anyways, I was already booked for her date so we were both bummed out. She is a huge blogger on the Weddingbee and she gave me a great review so I thought I would hook her up with an engagement type shoot. We had a blast. We walked around Height Ashbury which is this really cool hippy town in San Francisco. If you ever need a fun place to hang out or shoot in try out Height. It was awesome. Thanks again Miss (and Mr) Penguin!

And last but not least we have a few from Josh and Natalie's wedding I shot this past weekend. It was at Hartley Bontanica which is this really nifty wedding venue up near Santa Barbara. Josh and Natalie are so great, I feel like I have known them for years. It was so awesome to see them get married. I think they are still in Hawaii... have'n some fun no doubt. You guys ROCK!

2 (engagement shoots) + 1 (wedding) = 6854 (images) ; ) Enjoy the photos...

Ezra + Zion = EZ!

Anyone that has ever had children will agree with me when I say that newborns can be trying at times... sleepless nights, continual throw-up stains on your clothes, millions and millions of dirty diapers, crying, OH THE CRYING!!! But with all of that and add a 2 year old in the mix and things get just a little looney, well at least at my house they do. While things can and often do get crazy around my dwelling, I must say I have the best boys in the world! Besides being the cutest kids on the planet they just so happen to be the coolest as well. You might be thinking... "Oh how cute, he thinks he has the best kids in the world." NO, I DO HAVE THE BEST KIDS IN THE WORLD!!! They are infinitely more good looking and way cooler than I ever will be. Anyways, here are a few shots of them playing together, or at least trying to. 2 month olds don't really do much ;)

Hey boys, look at the camera... yeah, that didn't work

James + Johanna = A whole lot'a fun!!!

James and I go way back... way back to rec soccer. We grew up together and we were pretty much inseparable all the way through high school. He pretty much schooled me in basketball, ping-pong, and playing any type of musical instrument, but I owned him on the soccer field ;) Needless to say, we had some great times together. We lost touch for a while through college, but we got reconnected just in time for me to shoot his engagement session. I'll be shooting their wedding in September so check back for that one. I met up with them in good old San Francisco "DING-DING" (that's the sound the trolley cars make if you didn't catch that). We hit up their roof, which was really cool, China Town, Crissy Field, and some other random spots along the way. James has always been a goof ball and Johanna totally compliments him in that, which you'll soon find out (just scroll down). They are so great together and I am thrilled James found someone as awesome as Johanna. I can't wait to see them get married.

Congratulations guys... and thanks for being so much fun!!!

Check out the dudes face walking by, priceless.

This images makes me laugh so hard!!!!!!! I love it!

I probably made james do this about 20 times... that's what friends are for right?!
